M-pact Marketing President David Buffaloe and Creative Director Dede Houston Both Receive 2009 Movers & Shakers Awards
Award presented by Business Leader Magazine to honor local leaders for professional accomplishments and community involvement
RALEIGH, NC – September 23, 2009 – M-pact Marketing, the premier marketing services agency geared to supporting small to mid-size businesses, today announced David Buffaloe, president and founder of M-pact Marketing, and Dede Houston, creative director and partner of M-pact Marketing, were both recently honored with 2009 Movers & Shakers Awards from Business Leader Magazine. David and Dede were among 89 top Triangle-area business leaders to receive the prestigious annual award, which honors up-and-coming business leaders in the Triangle community who are both great leaders and mentors in their workplace as well as heavily involved in their community.

David launched M-pact Marketing in 2008 after working more than 15 years in the marketing profession. Dede joined M-pact Marketing as the creative director and partner in early 2009. Both David and Dede are heavily involved in local charitable causes, including Hospice of Wake County Golf Classic, Stop Hunger Now and Prevent Blindness North Carolina. In addition, M-pact Marketing offers pro-bono marketing work for select nonprofits as part of their continuing effort to give back to the community.
